US IEC 60335-2-21: 2009, Household and similar electrical appliances — Safety — Part 2-21: Particular requirements for storage water heaters (2nd Edition)

This Uganda Standard deals with the safety of storage water heaters for household and similar purposes and intended for heating water below boiling temperature, their rated voltage being not being more than 250 V for single phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. As far as is practicable, this standard deals with the common hazards presented by appliances that are encountered by all persons in and around the home.
