- 13(3) The importer of animal by products of ruminant origin must submit copies of bill of lading/entry, invoices and import permits to the Registrar.
20(3) Any person who has in his possession or under his control animal by products of ruminant origin or animal by products mixed with animal by products of ruminant origin shall keep records and render returns to the Registrar: Act No. 36 of 1947;
(4) Such returns shall specify-
(a) the date on which the material was receive;.
(b) the description of the material;
(c) the species of origin 4.e. ruminant or mixed;
(d) the quantity of the material;
(e) the name and address of the carrier;
(f) the name and address of the supplier and if applicable, material registration
number: and
(g) the country and place of origin if the material is imported.
(5) The records to be kept at an establishment in terms of this regulation, shall be preserved at the registered office of such establishment or such other place as may on application be approved by the Registrar, for at least two years and in a case where animal by products of ruminant origin are handled for at least 7 years. - Reference of the measure

12. (1) (a) No person shall on food premises handle meat derived from an animal slaughtered in contravention of section 3 of the Abattoir Hygiene Act, 1992 (Act No. 121 of 1992).
(b) No person shall on food premises handle the meat of an animal exempted
from the provisions of sections 3(1) and 10(1) of the Abattoir Hygiene Act, 1992, unless a notice that is clearly visible and legible and that contains the following information or information to that effect, in letters at least 18 mm high, is displayed at the food premises: “The meat sold on these premises has been exempted from inspection in terms of section 10(1) of the Abattoir Hygiene Act, 1992 (Act No. 121 of 1992).”.
(2) M eat on a carcass shall not be handled on food premises, unless -
(a) the carcass has been properly bled;
(b) the abdominal viscera were removed within 30 minutes after the killing of the animal in such a manner that neither the stomach and intestinal content nor any other matter polluted or spoiled the meat; and
(c) the thoracic viscera were removed within three hours after the killing of the animal.
(3) Unskinned carcasses shall not be so handled that the skin thereof comes into contact with other food on food premises or that the meat of such carcasses is contaminated or spoiled.
(4) Subject to section 3 of the Abattoir Hygiene Act, 1992, no animal shall be killed, bled, eviscerated, skinned or dressed on food premises other than in a room used specifically and exclusively for that purpose in accordance with good manufac-turing practice: Provided that no further handling or processing of any such carcass shall take place in that room. - Reference of the measure

- 2. Maximum Trans-Fat content of foodstuffs
(1) In line with section 2(1 )(a)(iv) of the Act, the sale, manufacturing and importation of any oils and fats, including emulsions with fat as the continuous phase, either alone or as part of processed foods, which are intended for human consumption or assumed to be intended for human consumption, in the retail trade, catering businesses, restaurants, institutions, bakeries etcetera, of which the content of Trans-Fat exceeds 2 grams per 100
grams of oil or fat, is prohibited.
(2) Subject to sub-regulation 2(1) and regulation 4, in cases where Trans-Fat in the end product may be deriving from both partially hydrogenated fat or oil in an ingredient or additive, as well as from ingredients from ruminant animal origin, the Trans-Fat content per individual ingredient at the mixing bowl stage-
(a) shall be kept on record for the purpose of compliance with these Regulations; and
(b) subject to regulation 3, where the claim "Trans-Fat free" is made, the TransFat content which shall be declared in the table with nutritional information on the label shall, be the sum of analytical values per individual ingoing

3. All toys in foodstuffs shall comply with the following safety requirements:
(1) Toys that are designed to be disassembled or pieces of which may break off during normal use or during reasonably foreseeable abuse, shall not be of a size that create a hazard if they are swallowed or inhaled, or come into contact with the skin, mucous tissues or eyes.
(2) Toys shall be visually clean and free from any kind of infestation,
(3) Toys shall conform to the SANS standard on the 'Safety of Toys' and shall be tested to simulate reasonably foreseeable abuse in order to ensure that hazards are not generated as a result of normal wear and tear or deterioration.
(4)Testing shall be done in accordance with the appropriate test methods outlined in clauses 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 of the IS0 8124-1:2000 standard on the 'Safety of Toys (Part I)'. Such tests shall be carried out in an anticipated use environment and shall be intended to expose potential hazards rather than to demonstrate the reliability of such a toy.

- 10. (1) Stock in transit by train within or through Zambia shall be under the control of such person as the railway company conveying the stock shall appoint, and, in default of such appointment, the guard of the train conveying such stock shall be deemed to be the person in control of the stock.
(2) Stock in transit within or through Zambia by any road vehicle shall be under the control of such person as the transporter shall appoint, and, in default of such appointment, shall be deemed to be under the control of the driver of the vehicle. - Reference of the measure
