This Uganda Standard specifies maximum acceptable levels and methods of sampling and extraction prior to analysis for the migration of the elements antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and selenium from toy materials and from parts of toys.
This Uganda Standard specifies quality requirements, contaminants, hygiene, packaging, labelling, methods of sampling and test for breakfast cereals intended for human consumption.
2. Restrictions
(1) For the purpose of section 2(1)(a)(ii) of the Act, no agricultural product shall, subject to the provisions of subregulation (2), contain -
(a) seeds of Crotolaria species, Datura species or Ricinis communis in a measure greater than one seed per 1 000g; and
(b) seeds of Argemone mexicana L., Convolvulus species, Ipomoea purpurea Roth., Lolium temulentum and Xanthium species in a measure greater than seven seeds per 1 000g;of that agricultural product.
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of subregulation (1), where an agricultural product is to undergo sifting or any other process in order to reduce the number of poisonous seeds of any plant species before the sale thereof as a foodstuff for human consumption, these regulations shall only apply after such sifting or other process has taken place

38. Sale of adulterated alcoholic drinks
(1) No person shall keep for sale, offer for sale or sell—
(a) any alcoholic drink which has been in any way adulterated, or diluted by any person;
(b) any non-alcoholic drink which has been in any way adulterated with alcohol, or which contains any of the substances prohibited by the Minister under section 68.
(2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of this section commits an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding ten million Kenya shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, or to both.
16. Use of poly-vinyl chloride packages
