- 7 (1) Any ready-to-drink citrus drink which does not comply with the requirements of subsection (2) or (3) of section five shall—
(a) be labelled “…………. DRINK" in type no smaller than 18 point, the name of the kind of citrus present, and, in the case .of a blended drink, the word. "BLENDED", and the names of the kinds of citrus present being inserted in the blank space:
provided that, in the case of carbonated drinks, the type-size specified shall not apply.
(b) if it contains 6% or less of standardized citrus juice, or if it contains any synthetic flavouring, be labelled, in letters no smaller than 18 point, "IMITATION (or ARTIFICIAL or SYNTHETIC).…….. DRINK" or "…...FLAVOURED DRINK", the name of the citrus present, or, in the case of a blended drink, the word "BLENDED" and the names of the kinds of citrus present, being; inserted in the blank space:
Provided that, in the case of carbonated drinks, the type-size specified shall not apply, but the words "IMITATION", "ARTIFICIAL",SYNTHETIC' or "FLAVOURED", as the case may be, shall be legibly displayed.
(2) Any product which does not comply with the requirements laid, down in section five or six, and which is intended to be diluted to form a citrus drink, shall—
(a) be labelled with the dilution ratio to obtain the ready-to-drink product;
(b) if the ready-to-drink product contains more than 6% of standardized citrus juice, include on the label, the word "DRINK" in type no smaller than 18 point;
(c) if the ready-to-drink product contains 6% or less of standardized citrus juice, or if it contains any synthetic flavouring, include on the label in letters no smaller than 18 point, the words "IMITATION (or ARTIFICIAL or SYNTHETIC)……………DRINK", or "…………….FLAVOURED DRINK", the name of the citrus present, or, in the case of a blended drink, the word "BLENDED" and the names of the kinds present, being inserted in the blank space. - Reference of the measure

- 3(1) An application for the registration of a farm feed shall be made by -
(a) submission of a sample; and
(b) completing form F.F.1 specified in the First Schedule in triplicate and submitting it to the registering officer; and
(c ) accompanied by the container and a reproduction of any label or inscription on the container in which the feed will be sold.
(2) Renewing of registration is made by sample submission and undergoing the same process as in subsection (1) and is done annually.
7 (2). All importers of farm feeds shall ensure that-
(a) they comply with the requirements of section 3 of these regulations; and
(b) compulsory pre-shipment inspection, at the expense of the applicant , is conducted ; and
(c) they submit through inspectors, samples to the laboratory for analysis; and
(d) they make all necessary declaration of growth promoters, antibiotics, enzymes and GMO status before import permit is is issued; and
(e) compulsory mycotoxin analysis is conducted prior to registration ; and
(f) they incorporate Zimbabwean registration number, name and physical address of the local distributor, and details of the manufacturer on the label. - Reference of the measure

- 4 (1) Every package containing vinegar shall bear a label stating—
(a) the type of vinegar present in the container, printed in type no smaller than 12 point;
(b) the name and business address of the manufacturer, producer, importer or retailer on whose behalf such vinegar was packaged;
(c) in the case of blended vinegar, the names of the various types of vinegar of which the product is composed;
(d) a packing-number or the date on which the vinegar was packaged, or a code-number or mark which signifies such date.
(2) The manufacturer or producer of any vinegar who uses a code-number or mark to signify the date of packaging shall, upon request from an inspector, divulge the date which such code-number or mark signifies.
(3) Unless otherwise stated, any particular which, in terms of these regulations, is required to be printed on a label shall be printed in type no smaller than 6 point and in such colour or colours as to afford a distinct contrast with the background.
(4) Words which qualify the name or trade name of the vinegar, or are an essential part of the description thereof, shall be printed on the label in letters of the same size and prominence as the name of the article.

- Prepackaged food labelling
4 (1) Prepackaged food shall not be described or presented on any label or in any labelling in a manner that is false, misleading or deceptive or is likely to create an erroneous impression regarding its character in any respect.
(2) Prepackaged food shall not be described or presented on any label or in a labelling by words, pictorial or other devices which refer to or are suggestive either directly or indirectly, or any other product with which such food might be confused, or in such a manner as to lead the purchaser or consumer to suppose that the food is connected with such other products.
Labelling
5 (1) The package of every food offered for sale shall bear a label stating the following particulars—
(a) the name and business address of the manufacturer, packer or distributor indicating the actual site of production;
(b) an accurate statement of the contents in terms of mass, measure or numerical count;
(c) the common or usual name of the food, or if it purports or is represented to be a food for which a standard had been established, the name prescribed in that standard or where no common or standard names exists, the appropriate descriptive name;
(d) if the food is made from 2 or more ingredients, the common or usual name of each such ingredient in descending order of proportion by mass provided that
(i) pork fat, lard and beef fat shall always be declared by their specific names;
(ii) class names as indicated in the First Schedule may be used;
(e) where the food contains any artificial flavouring or artificial colouring the name of the artificial flavouring or artificial colouring;
(f) where the food contains a chemical preservative, immediately preceeding or following the time of the preservative ingredient, the words “added as a preservative” or words to that effect;
(g) date of minimum durability in the form of “Best before . . .” followed by day, month, year of produce with a minimum durability of not more than 3 months, months and year for products with a minimum durability of 3 months and more or “use by . . .” followed by day and month for products with a shelf life not exceeding 30 days provided that products listed in the Second Schedule are exempted from this declaration;
(h) where a food or any of its ingredients has been treated with ionizing radiation a written statement indicating that treatment in close proximity to the name of the food or ingredient. The use of the international radura sign (as shown in Schedule III) is optional but where it is used it should be in close proximity to the name of the food;
(i) where a food or any of its ingredients has been genetically modified it shall be declared in writing in close proximity to the produce or ingredient name;
(j) a packing number and/or date on which the goods were packed or code number which signifies such date provided that an inspector shall on request be informed by the manufacturer or producer of the date which such code number signifies.
(2) The particulars required to appear on the label in terms of subsection (1) shall be—
(a) in the English language:
Provided that in the case of foods described solely in an area where English is not the predominant language, the predominant language may be used in addition to English; and
(b) printed in clear and indelible letters and be prominent and legible; and
(c) printed in a contrasting colour to that of the back-ground of the package;
(d) printed in type no smaller than 6 point;
Provided that—
(i) the particulars referred to in paragraphs (b) and (c) of subsection (1) shall be printed in a type no smaller than 12 point;
(ii) where the size or the nature of the package would render compliance with this subsection impossible, the Secretary may authorize, in writing, such particulars, to be printed in smaller type or be omitted.
(3) Labels shall be affixed on a conspicuous position on the package.
(4) A label shall state any necessary direction for the handling use storage of the particular food , for example “keep refrigerated”. - Reference of the measure

- 4 (1) Subject to the provisions of subsection (7), every package containing edible fats or oils shall bear a label stating the following particulars—
(a) the name of the edible fat or oil contained therein;
and
(b) the name and business address of the manufacturer, producer, importer or retailer on whose behalf such edible fat or oil was packaged; and
(c) a packing-number or the date on which the edible fat or oil was packaged, or a code-number which signifies such date; and
(d) in the case of an edible fat or oil which is composed of 2 or more different ingredients, the names of the ingredients, set out in descending order in relation to their percentage of the total content, and, when required by the *Food and Food Standards (Food Additives and Prohibited Substances) Regulations, SI 136 of 2001, the name and nature of any preservatives.
(2) The manufacturer or producer of any edible fat or oil who uses a code-number to signify the date of packaging shall, upon request from an inspector, divulge the date which such code-number signifies.
(3) Subject to the provisions of section five, and of subsection (7), any particular which, in terms of these regulations, is required to be printed on a label shall be printed in type no smaller than 6 point, and in such colour or colours as to afford a distinct contrast with the background:
Provided that, where the size of the package would render compliance with the provisions of this subsection impossible, the Secretary may authorize such particular to be printed in smaller type.
(4) Words which qualify the name or trade name of the article, or are an essential part of the description thereof, shall be printed on the label in letters of the same size and prominence as the name of the article.
(5) The ingredients or proportions of any edible fat or oil shall be set out on the label in type of a uniform size and prominence throughout.
(6) No label on any edible fat or oil shall contain the words "vitaminized", "vitamin-fortified" or "enriched", or any other words which may be construed as indicating that such fortifying ingredients have been added to or produced in such edible fat or oil, without the written approval of the Secretary.
(7) Where a retailer sells an edible fat or oil from a bulk supply kept by him—
(a) such bulk supply shall bear a label containing the particulars specified in subsection (1) in type no smaller than 18 point; and
(b) the label specified in paragraph (a) shall be displayed in a prominent position so as to be easily read by a purchaser of such edible fats or oils; and

- 84. Marking
(1) Where unpackaged LSA-I or SCO-I material is contained in receptacles or packing material and shipped under conditions specified in regulation 81, the outer surface of these receptacles or wrapping materials shall bear the marking "RADIOACTIVE LSA-I" or "RADIOACTIVE SCO-I" as appropriate.
(2) All packages shall be legibly and durably marked on the outside of the packaging with an identification of either the consignor or consignee, or both.
(3) Each package of gross mass exceeding 50 kg shall have its permissible gross mass legibly and durably marked on the outside of the packaging.
(4) All packages shall be legibly and durably marked on the outside of the packaging with the appropriate United Nations number from the Seventh Schedule table I preceded by the letters "UN" and for each package other than excepted packages the proper shipping name as identified in the Seventh Schedule shall also be included with this marking.
(5) Industrial packages shall be legibly and durably marked on the outside of the packaging with the words "TYPE IP- 1", "TYPE IP-2" or "TYPE IP-3".
(6) Type A packages shall be legibly and durably marked on the outside of the packaging with the words "TYPE A".
(7) Each package which conforms to an approved Type B(U), Type B(M) or Type C package design shall be legibly and durably marked on the outside of the packaging with-
(a) the identification mark allocated by the Inspectorate to the design of that package;
(b) a serial number to uniquely identify each packaging which conforms to that design;
and
(c) in the case of a Type B(U) or Type B(M) package design, with "TYPE B(U)" or
"TYPE B(M)".
(8) In the case of a Type C package design, with the words "TYPE C" in addition, each
package which conforms to a Type B(U), Type B(M) or Type C package design shall have
the outside of the outermost receptacle which is resistant to the effects of fire and water
plainly marked by embossing, stamping or other means resistant to the effects of fire and
