(6) Any person who imports or exports a substance set out in the Sixteenth Schedule shall state on any invoice, cargo manifest or similar document—
(a) the names and addresses of the importer and exporter;
(b) the name and address of the consignee, if any;
(c) the quantity to be imported or exported, as the case may be;
and such invoice, cargo manifest or similar document shall be kept for a period of five years.
101C. Any person who imports or exports a substance set out in Table I of the Sixteenth Schedule shall, before the 31st March in each year, submit a return to the Authority stating the amounts so imported or exported from January to December in the previous year.

10. Conditions for an exporter’s or importer’s licence
In addition to any conditions which may be prescribed under this Act, every
exporter or importer shall—
(a)equip and maintain his premises to the satisfaction of the Director;
(b)carry out the grading of the hides, skins and leather to the satisfaction
of the Director; and
(c)keep proper books in English or Kiswahili in the manner prescribed

14. Standards of cosmetics
Where a standard has been prescribed for a cosmetic, any person who labels, packages, sells or advertises any article in such a manner that it is likely to be mistaken for a cosmetic of the prescribed standard shall be guilty of an offence unless the article complies with the prescribed standard.
47. Inspection of licences and books
(1) Every authorized or licensed seller of poisons shall, on the demand of an authorized officer, produce for inspection his certificate of registration or his licence, as the case may be.
(2) All books kept by any seller of poisons, medical practitioner, dentist or veterinary surgeon, or by any hospital, dispensary or similar institution, in accordance with the provisions of this Act, shall be open for inspection by an authorized officer at all reasonable times.
