106.Sweet chocolate or sweet chocolate coating shall be chocolate mixed with sugar or with a combination of not less than 75 per centum of sugar and not more than 25 per centum of dextrose; may contain cacao butter, spices, other flavouring material (see regulations 219 to 243) and not more than a total of 1.5 per centum of emulsifying agents in the finished product (See Part IV of the Nineteenth Schedule); and shall contain, on the dry, sugar-free and fat-free basis, no greater proportion of crude fibre, total ash, or ash insoluble in hydrochloric acid respectively than does chocolate on the dry, fat-free basis.

107.Milk chocolate, sweet milk chocolate, milk chocolate coating or sweet milk chocolate coating shall be the cacao product obtained from chocolate by grinding with sugar or with a combination of not less than 75 per centum of sugar and not more than 25 per centum of dextrose; may contain cacao butter, spices, other flavouring material (see regulations 219 to 243) and not more than a total of 1.5 per centum of emulsifying agents in the finished product (See Part IV of the Nineteenth Schedule); and shall contain, in the finished product, not less than 12.0 per centum of milk solids of which milk fat shall be not less than 3.65 per centum by weight in the finished product.

Description of the measure: 20. (1) A counterpoise weight shall be—
(a) marked in equivalents of 5kg, 10kg, 20kg, 25kg, 50kg or
(b) made of brass, nickel-steel, or other corrosion resisting metal if used for hides and skins;
(c) have only one undercut adjusting hole containing fixed lead sufficient to cover adequately the bottom of such hole, and with room to permit future adjustments; or,
(d) made of brass if its actual weight is 100 grams or less.
(2) Subject to the provisions of such sub-regulation (3) where more than one platform machine provided with counterpoise weights is kept or used by any person on any premises or on a public market, each such counterpoise weight shall be identified with the weighing instrument to which it belongs by a number conspicuously and indelibly marked and corresponding to a number similarly marked on the pillar and on the counterbalance of the instrument.
(3) The provision of sub-regulation (2) shall riot apply to any counterpoise weight adjusted to a ratio of 50:1 or 100:1 precisely.
(4) A counterpoise weight of metric denomination shall be distinctly different from any other counterpoise weights in shape or in colour.

(1) (Naming the fruit) jam shall be the product obtained by processing fruit,fruit pulp, or canned fruit, by boiling to a suitable consistency with water and a sweetening ingredient; shall contain not less than 40 per centum of the named fruit and 65 per centum of water soluble solids as estimated by the refractometer; and may contain such amount of added pectin, or acid ingredients, as reasonably compensates for any deficiency in the natural pectin content or acidity of the named fruit, a Class II Preservative (see Part XIB of the Nineteenth Schedule) and an antifoaming agent (see Part VIII of the Nineteenth Schedule).

Description of the measure
278.(Naming the citrus fruit) marmalade shall be the product obtained by processing a combination of peel, pulp or juice of the named citrus fruit by boiling with water and a sweetening ingredient, shall contain not less than 65 per centum of water soluble solids as estimated by the refractometer, and may contain such amount of acid ingredients as reasonably compensates for any deficiency in the natural acidity of the named citrus fruit, a pH adjusting agent (see Part X of the Nineteenth Schedule), an antifoaming agent (see Part VIII of the Nineteenth Schedule), and pectin.

The rationale of the measure: These regulations shall apply to edible fats and oils which are sold or manufactured for sale in Zimbabwe.

Description of the measure: (4) Fatty substances intended to be used for cooking or other culinary purposes—
(a) shall, if they are a mixture of any or all of the following ingredients—
(i) oils conforming to the requirements of subsection (5);
(ii) animal fats;
(iii) hydrogenated (hardened) vegetable and marine oils and fats;
be labelled "COOKING-FAT", in type no smaller 18 point
Provided that a fatty substance intended for a specific culinary purpose may be labelled in a manner which clearly describes the specific purpose for which the substance is intended;
(b) if prepared from fats and oils of vegetable origin, shall be labeled "VEGETABLE OIL”, or shall bear the name of the oil from which it is manufactured, in type no smaller than 18 point;
(c) shall be free from rancidity and objectionable odour and taste;
(d) shall not contain any mineral oil;
(e) may contain permitted antioxidants.
