7.1.1 8.1 Preparation and presentation
The product shall be prepared from fish or cuts of fish packed with vegetables and/or fruits, and/or cereals and/or edible garnish, together with seasoning materials, spices or other appropriate ingredients.
7.1.18.2 Drained mass
When determined in accordance with 11.5, the total drained mass of the container contents shall be not less than 55 % of the d.n.m. When fish appears first in the name of the product, the drained mass of fish shall be not less than 25 % of the d.n.m. When fish does not appear first in the name of the product, the fish content shall constitute not less than 10 % of the d.n.m. unless the fact that it constitutes less than 10 % is declared on the main panel of the label. - Reference of the measure

7.3.5.1 Preparation and presentation
The product may be prepared from crustaceans with vegetables and/or fruits and/or cereals with or without edible garnish, seasoning materials, spices or other appropriate ingredients.
7.3.5.2 Drained mass
The drained mass when determined in accordance with 11.5, shall be not less than 55 % of the d.n.m. When crustaceans appear first in the name of the product, the mass of crustaceans shall be not less than 25 % of the d.n.m., unless the fact that the mass is less than 25 % of the d.n.m. appears on the label. When crustaceans do not appear first in the name of the product, the crustacean content shall constitute not less than 10 % of the d.n.m, unless fhe fact that it constitutes less than 10 % of the d.n.m. is declared on the main panel of the label. - Reference of the measure

- 7.7 Semi-preserved or pasteurized canned products
7.7.1 Product definition and methods of preservation
Canned fish, molluscs and crustaceans or their products covered by this standard, may be packed as semi-preserved. The product is preserved by any combination of salting, brining, pickling, smoking, low acid or preservatives allowed in terms of regulations under the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act and chilled in storage below 5 "C. Products may also be rendered shelf stable by incorporating heat processing and at least a pasteurization treatment process.
7.7.2 Product requirements
Particular product descriptions shall comply with the requirements for the particular products as relevant on condition that where product is preserved by the packing medium and is labelled semipreserved, the drained mass may be a minimum of 50 % of the d.n.m. (This requirement is not applicable to products in 7.1.9). - Reference of the measure

- 198.Vegetable oils shall be derived from the botanical source after which they are named and indicated under the regulations for individual oils. They shall be free from foreign and rancid odour and taste. An addition of certain colours in oils (see regulations 115 to 122) is permitted for the purpose of standardising colours, as long as the added colours do not deceive or mislead the consumer by concealing damage or inferiority or by making the product appear to be more than its actual value. Natural flavours and their identical synthetic equivalents, except those which are known to represent a toxic hazard,and other approved synthetic flavours are permitted for the purpose of restoring natural flavours lost in processing or for the purpose of standardising flavours, so long as the added flavours do not deceive or mislead the consumer by concealing damage or inferiority or by making the product appear to be more than its actual value. Vegetable oils may contain permitted Class IV Preservatives (see Part XID of the Nineteenth Schedule),an antifoaming agent (see Part VIII of the Nineteenth Schedule), and crystallization inhibitor (see Part VIII of the Nineteenth Schedule):Provided that vegetable oils shall not contain any food additives or food colour when sold as virgin oils.

- 386 .Soft drinks are the class of beverages made by absorbing carbon dioxide in potable water with or without various added substances. The amount of carbon dioxide used shall not be less than that which shall be absorbed by the beverage at a pressure of one atmosphere and at a temperature of 15.6ºC. It shall contain either no alcohol or only such ethyl alcohol (ethanol), not in excess of 0.5 per centum of the finished beverage, as is contributed by a flavouring ingredient used.
