The operator of the business in premises in which the business of manufacturing, formulating, packaging, storing, usage or distribution of agricultural chemicals is undertaken shall, to the satisfaction of the board,have adequate technical knowledge of the chemistry, toxicology, efficacy,safety and general use of the chemical being handled.
28. Advertising statements to be substantiated, etc.
(1) Every statement used in advertising any agricultural chemical shall be technically substantiated by the person carrying out the advertisement.
(2) No advertisement in relation to an agricultural chemical shall contain any statement or visual presentation which directly or by implication, omission, ambiguity or exaggerated claim could mislead the buyer in particular with regard to the safety of the agricultural chemical, its nature or composition, suitability for use or official recognition or approval.
(3) Agricultural chemicals whose use is restricted to trained or registered fumigators or commercial applicators only shall not be publicly advertised except through journals for fumigators or commercial applicators - Reference of the measure

- 27. Removal of imported firearms and ammunition.
All firearms and ammunition imported under this Act shall be detained in police custody pending their removal in accordance with this section.
Any person who imports any firearm or ammunition by way of trade or business, or for the purpose of any trade or business, or for any purpose other than his or her own personal use, shall not remove that firearm or ammunition or cause it to be removed from police custody, unless he or she has first obtained from the chief licensing officer a removal permit in the prescribed form authorising him or her to remove the firearm or ammunition from the place where they are kept.
Any person who imports a firearm or ammunition for his or her own personal use shall not remove it or cause it to be removed from police custody unless—
he or she has first obtained a firearm certificate in respect of the firearm or ammunition; or
he or she shows that he or she is entitled by virtue of this Act to have the firearm or ammunition in his or her possession without holding a firearm certificate.
(4) Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of this section commits an offence and is liable to imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding two thousand shillings, or to both.
28. Firearms and ammunitions in transit.
A customs officer shall, after consultation with the chief licensing officer and after obtaining approval of the Minister, grant with or without conditions, or refuse, suspend or revoke transit permits for transportation across Uganda of firearms or ammunition to any place outside Uganda.
Any person who fails to comply with any condition subject to which a transit permit is issued commits an offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding two thousand shillings or to both, and the court before which the person in convicted may order the forfeiture of the firearm or ammunition to which the permit relates. - Reference of the measure

- 4 (1) An application for a licence to import drugs shall be made using Form 23 in the Schedule to these Regulations and shall be accompanied by the licence of the licensed person and the prescribed fees.
5 (6) A person authorised to import a narcotic drug or psychotropic substances shall, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the drugs, make returns to the Authority and shall after the importation, hand over the permit to the Authority.
11 (1) For the purposes of regulation 10, the person who re-exports drugs that are refused entry into Uganda, shall make an application for verification to the Authority and the application shall be accompanied by the relevant invoices and other documents related to the drugs including the exact point of destination of the drugs and the prescribed fees.
16 (1)The person who donates the drug and the recipient of the drug shall agree, prior to the importation, on the responsibility for the costs of-
(a) the international and national transportation of the donated drug;
(b) the customs warehousing and storage; and
(c) the clearing and other ancillary activities.
17(2) The certificate of donation shall indicate the conditions to be fulfilled by the recipient, if any, the name of the manufacturer of the drug, the name of the drug and its batch number, the dates of manufacture and expiry of the drug and any other condition as the authorised person may deem fit.
20(4) Where the Authority refuses to allow drugs for donation, due to the poor quality of the drugs, the drugs shall be destroyed by the Authority at the cost of the importer.
(5) The Authority may order the destruction of drugs imported for donation which does not comply with the requirements of these Regulations at the cost of the donor and the recipient. - Reference of the measure

- 10. Other offences and penalties.
(1) The holder of a petroleum operating licence, whether an importer, marketer of a petroleum product, dealer or retailer, or any other person commits an offence where he or she-
(a) is found in possession of an unauthorised marker or a petroleum product with an unauthorised marker;
(b) tampers with or breaks a seal applied to a petroleum facility including a pump of a depot, retail outlet, consumer site, truck or wagon.
(c) exceeds fourty five days before effecting payment for marking carried out under these regulations.
(2) An importer, marketer or dealer of a petroleum product, or any other person who commits an offence under subregulation (1) is liable on conviction to-
(a) pay a fine of twenty five currency points, in the case of an offender committing the offence for the first time;
(b) pay a fine of fourty eight currency points, in the case of an offender committing the offence for the second time;
(c) suspension of his or her operating licence for a period of not more than six months in the case of a third offence;
(d) revocation of his or her operating licence and forfeiture to the state of the petroleum product in the case of a fourth offence.
11. Fees.
The fees to be paid by importers for the testing and examination of petroleum products under these Regulations shall be five Uganda shillings for every litre. - Reference of the measure
